From a young age, Talitha immersed herself in the captivating world of fine jewellery, honing her skills and expertise before her insatiable curiosity about the world led her to study broadcast journalism. That’s where she flourished for nearly two decades as a high-profile journalist and presenter for Australia’s Seven Network and the radio industry.
But her passion for diamonds never waned, fuelled by a deep family connection. Driven by an intense curiosity about these intricate gems, Talitha studied the science behind them in Sydney and London under the world’s foremost authority on diamonds - The Gemological Institute of America, where she’s being certified as a Diamond Grader and jewellery designer.
Talitha discovered the world of lab-grown diamonds, a realm of beauty and innovation waiting to be explored. Embracing the technology behind the sparkling revolution, she launched The Cut Jewellery, a venture exclusively dedicated to these brilliant lab-grown gems.
Craig Blizzard

Head Jeweller and Talitha’s uncle, Craig has an impressive 50-year legacy in the diamond business. Throughout his illustrious career, Craig has ventured far and wide, journeying across the globe to seek out the most exquisite gems then returning home to create exceptional custom pieces with them.
From the age of 15, he dove headfirst into the extraordinary world of jewellery, mastering the delicate crafts of engraving, watchmaking, and clockmaking before studying jewellery design at Melbourne’s RMIT. His drive and passion for the industry saw him managing 5 stores before he went on to establish his own world class design studio.
Guided by an unwavering commitment to honesty and transparency, Craig possesses a keen eye for quality like no other. His profound expertise and passion for uncompromising quality are the cornerstones of The Cut Jewellery. Lead designer Kara Blizzard shares a special bond as Craig’s daughter and Talitha’s cousin. From her earliest days, Kara was immersed in the world of diamonds, and she has since devoted her entire career to crafting exquisite settings that radiate elegance.
To Kara, the art of creating the perfect design is a journey of collaboration. Drawing inspiration from the dreams and desires of her customers, she weaves together creativity and passion to forge high-quality, enduring pieces intersecting modern style and timelessness.
