Growing up in a family of jewellers, Talitha was exposed to the creative worlds of design, precious gems and fine jewellery from an early age. After a successful 20-year career in broadcast journalism as a journalist and presenter for radio and Australia’s Seven Network, she decided to return to her passion for creative expression, studying under The Gemological Institute of America, the world’s foremost authority on diamonds.

In the course of her studies in diamond grading and jewellery design in Sydney and London, Talitha became aware of the rise of lab-grown diamonds, ushering in an exciting shift within the industry. In 2023, she launched The Cut Jewellery, specialising in cultured diamonds and a bespoke design service, The Cut Custom. Talitha is just as passionate about designing classic timeless pieces to elevate the everyday as she is about working with clients to create bespoke engagement rings and precious heirloom pieces reimagined.
