We begin with a one-on-one appointment, either in person or virtually to uncover your story, style, and budget. This is where your bespoke journey begins.

Stones & Design Direction

With deep industry insight, we guide you through selecting your perfect stone whether a natural diamond, lab-grown alternative, or vibrant coloured gemstone. Together with our Head Designer, we shape the design direction of your piece. Stones we source come with independent certification and a unique laser inscription on the girdle ensuring the stone is the one described.

CAD Design Approval

Once your selections are finalised, a 30% deposit (dependent on selected stone) secures your unique stone and custom design. You'll receive a lifelike CAD drawing of your piece, featuring your chosen stones for review and approval before we begin crafting.

Crafted in Our Sydney Studio

Once approved, your piece is meticulously handcrafted in our Sydney studio with exceptional care, attention to detail, and the highest quality standards lead by our Head Jeweller.

The Finishing Touches

Every piece undergoes a meticulous final inspection before being thoughtfully packaged and presented with a certificate of authenticity. The full bespoke process typically takes 4 - 6 weeks. If you have a specific deadline, please let us know we’ll always do our best to accommodate your timeline.

The Signature Handover

Seeing the joy on our clients faces is the most rewarding part of the process. Once your custom piece is complete, it’s time to be united with your creation. You’re welcome to collect it from our Paddington or CBD showroom, or we can arrange secure delivery worldwide.

Can Your Designs Be Customised?

If a design from our collection catches your eye but you prefer a different combination of metal and gemstone, we can make it to order.  We will source a variety of diamonds or gemstones, allowing you to choose. We can make any adjustments to existing rings, including metal colour, stone types and sizes - let your imagination run wild!  Send us an email design@thecutjewellery.com.au to being the process. 

How Long Does A Custom Ring Take To Make?

Depending on the complexity of the design, our custom made engagement rings and design rings typically take between 5-6 weeks. If you require your ring in a shorter time frame, please notify us immediately and we can help find a solution.

Do You Remake Or Remodel Old Jewellery?

In some cases, yes. Our Head Jeweller will need to assess your existing stone in person first. We only remodel stones more than 1.00ct, and all remodelling work is subject to approval to ensure the stone is suitable and safe to work with.

If your stone is approved, the minimum cost for a reset or remodel starts at $3,500. Final price is dependant upon the design and workmanship involved.

Where Are Your Pieces Made?

All of our bespoke pieces are proudly Australian made by some of the country’s most talented jewellers in Sydney and Melbourne.  All pieces are subject to quality inspection by Craig - a 50 year veteran of the industry - prior to you receiving them. 

What Is The Cost Of A Bespoke Ring?

Our custom made engagement rings start at $3500.

Is A Deposit Required?

Yes, a 30% deposit is required before your special piece is created.
